Former Chelsea centre back Gary Cahill has been asked to build his ultimate footballer, and he has of course picked some of his former Blues team mates as part of that player.

Cahill was a real fan favourite himself at Stamford Bridge, having arrived for peanuts and then going on to win it all, often wearing the captains armband along the way. He was a real warrior and leader on the pitch and perhaps whilst maybe not always the best technical player on the park, he was one of the best defenders the Premier League has ever seen in terms of his defensive contributions.

Speaking to ESPN on TikTok, Cahill has now been tasked with building a so-called ultimate footballer.

Cahill said that Cesc Fabregas has the best football IQ of any player he’s seen, while Cesar Azpilicueta has the best mentality.

When it came to finishing though, Cahill picked Didier Drogba, which is probably the most obvious pick of all!
