Getafe coach Jose Bordalas has urged fans not to barrack Valencia striker Hugo Duro this weekend.

Duro faces his former club, which is the same situation for Bordalas.

The coach said: "I think that from here I would ask the fans. He is exemplary.

"I think it's unfair, Hugo Duro, the time he has been in Getafe he has given everything. I had him in Getafe and Valencia. He is an honest player who defends his interests. We must not forget that when he went to Valencia he did not have much prominence either and we decided that he could help us.

"In the end he had a great year. Surely he will be respected because he is a footballer who was born here. This is football, maximum respect. It's something strange but it's the reality of football."
