Girona midfielder Aleix Garcia has no regrets talking up his ambitions of playing for Barcelona.

Aleix made the comments just a week before Girona went to Barca and won - which was a relief for the midfielder.

He recalled on his X channel: "I don't regret having spoken well of Bara, but rather the moment and the manners. In the end I am very transparent, and at times, I have spoken about it with other teammates, why can't we be transparent?

"The week of winning in Montjuc was hard for me, and winning was... phew. I had extra pressure and I think it went well for me when it came to playing.

"They pressed and pushed, but we played a perfect game."
