Graham Potter is the manager Richard Keys believes will take David Moyes’ job as West Ham’s new manager.

The pressure is mounting on Moyes every week and his job at the Premier League club is in serious trouble. The Hammers lost 6-0 against Arsenal on Sunday and according to reports, the result took Moyes closer to the sack.

Keys believes Moyes will not be staying at London Stadium once his current contract expires in the summer.

Speaking on beIN SPORTS, Keys said: “We shouldn’t really speculate about his job, but Graham Potter comes to mind.

“He’s one they might look at. I don’t think [Moyes] has a long-term future there.”

Co-host Andy Gray agreed with Keys and replied: “Yeah.”

Looking at how things are going at West Ham, Moyes is unlikely to get a new contract at the club. The supporters are furious at the club’s performances, a large number of fans walked out of the stadium even before the half time against Arsenal.

With the defeat against Arsenal, the team’s 2024 winless streak now stands at six games, including an FA Cup loss to Bristol City, a second tier team. Their participation in Europe next season could be in jeopardy if their current form continues.

The Hammers are soon going to play in the Europa League knockouts and elimination in that could be the final nail in the coffin for Moyes.

If that’s the case, Potter would be a good candidate to replace the Scottish manager. Before having a lackluster tenure at Chelsea, he made an impression at Brighton and was considered one of the best young coaches in Europe.
