Manchester United outcast Mason Greenwood has informed the club of his intentions.

The Red Devils attacker, who is suspended by the club at present, has stated that he wants to return playing for them as soon as possible.

Per The Mail, Greenwood has informed United that given charges against him have been dropped by the CPS, he is clear to return to team training.

However, Greenwood has subsequently been told by United that he is suspended until the season concludes.

That is when United's own investigation will come to its end, by when they will decide on Greenwood's future.

Reports in the British press have stated the club is still not sure about how to handle his situation.
