There is a belief Marcus Rashford will be fit for Manchester United's clash with Newcastle this weekend.

Rashford missed England's Euro qualifiers due to injury, though was back in training earlier this week.

The striker had initially trained away from the squad, but The Sun says he has been gradually upping his work in the gym and on the Carrington pitches to be ready for the trip to St James' Park.

There is now a confidence he will be fit to start in the top four showdown.

Newcastle could leapfrog Erik ten Hag's currently third placed side on goal difference if they were to win.
