Hakim Ziyech’s move to Galatasaray seems to be closer than ever.

The last 24 hours has been full of rumour and speculation – including a scare that he had failed his medical. There has been talk that the winger will move on a free transfer, and it seems that the deal will at the very least be almost free with plenty of potential uplift for Chelsea should the winger appear regularly and perform.

Sky Sports said that there is a “broad agreement” between the two clubs over the transfer fee, and it seems set to be an interesting arrangement. We’re sure we’ll get more details once the deal is done, but our desperation to shift the wantaway winger seems like it’s allowing the Turkish team to really dictate the deal.

The good news from that Sky report is that they say his medical has been completed, a real relief considering he’s had two deals to leave the club fall through at the last minute in the past 6 months.
