Thomas Tuchel literally has some of his biggest decisions of the season so far as they prepare to face Manchester United on Saturday.

United are in better spirits this week after sacking their manager and getting a win in Europe in midweek.

Chelsea will need to be at their best again to make sure they take all three points at home on Sunday.

Ben Chilwell is obviously injured, so that will be Tuchel’s first major decision. I think he might pick Cesar Azpilicueta there for now, until he figures out a longer term solution. Marcos Alonso will be expecting the nod, and he might still get it of course, but I think Tuchel will want the captain on there.

Other big decisions are up top, with Kai Havertz and Mason Mount likely to be coming back in. I think it might come a bit too soon for Romelu Lukaku to start, but expect him off the bench for sure.

Thiago Silva has played twice in three days so could get rested on Sunday. N’Golo Kante also came off injured against Juventus, so expect Ruben Loftus-Cheek in for him.

My predicted Xl:

(3-4-3): Mendy, Chalobah, Christensen, Rudiger: James, Jorginho, Loftus-Cheek, Azpilicueta: Hudson-Odoi, Havertz, Mount.
