Having good link-ups on the pitch can go a long way to helping build a successful team, and this kind of thing will always come with time and hard work on the training pitches.

We are starting to see some good link-ups and understanding now between a handful of Chelsea players, especially in attack, and it was one of these link-ups that helped Chelsea beat Leicester City in the FA Cup quarter finals on Sunday lunchtime.

Sources: Clubs now registering summer interest in Chelsea goalkeeper with hope of a sale!

But we are seeing such play between other players as well of late, and some feel that things are finally starting to come together at Chelsea, even if there is still a long way of more developing to go.

But players like Cole Palmer have been superb, and he seems to have a real natural on field chemistry with Carney Chukwuemeka, who scored for Chelsea on Sunday after being assisted by Palmer.

The England international even told Carney that he was going to assist him before the game!!

“Even in training, we are always finding each other and linking well,” Carney said on the Chelsea website. “So as soon as I played it to Cole, I knew I was getting it back.

“He even told me before the game that when I came on, he would assist me. So we have that combination together and hopefully we can build on it.”
