Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s recovery is ongoing and the striker still has a hope of making the first game of the season, a report claims.

MilanNews reports how preseason preparations will begin on Thursday and Ibrahimovic will be among those who is present. The Swede will arrive in Milan tomorrow and, if the travel program allows it, he could already undergo a session at Milanello on Wednesday.

Otherwise, he will return Thursday together with Calabria and Bennacer, who are the other two players who are coming back from surgery, with the full-back already back at the club’s training complex today for therapy.

From what filters through, there is optimism about the recovery of Ibrahimovic who is working hard to shorten the time he is missing for. The target date is set for the week of the start of the season, but Ibra wants to try and be back for the first game.
