Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not be at the game between AC Milan and Fiorentina at the Stadio Artemio Franchi tonight, according to a report.

Ibrahimovic has often been close to the squad since he was appointed as a Senior Advisor towards the end of last season, with the Swede regularly spotted on the sidelines at training and at games.

However, MilanNews report that he is not present at the Artemio Franchi tonight for the Serie A match against Fiorentina . The Swede, who usually accompanies the team along with other club officials, is currently in Dubai.

According to their report, Zlatan is attending as a guest at an event organised by Emirates – the Official Airline Partner and Principal Partner of the Rossoneri in a collaboration that has been going on for over 15 years – and other commercial partners.

More details about the visit may therefore emerge, but the Milan team will have to try and win a challenging game without the former striker watching on from the side.

As a reminder, Ibra recently reached 100 days in his new role and an article outlined exactly what his powers are, including what he has done to this point and what he wants to do in the future.
