Lazio sporting director Igli Tare will meet new coach Maurizio Sarri today to discuss the transfer market, with the former Napoli coach wanting five or six new signings.

As reported by Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the Albanian sporting director will travel to the 62-year-old Italian coach’s home in Castelfranco di Sopra in Tuscany to discuss the strategy and plans for this summer’s transfer window.

Sarri wants a new central defender, or two if Denis Vavro fails to impress, a full back with expiring Napoli fullback Elseid Hysaj the favourite, two midfielders and at least one wide forward, or two if Joaquin Correa leaves.

Ciro Immobile, Luis Alberto and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic are all unsellable and will not leave the club over the summer. Manuel Lazzari and Joaquin Correa both could be sold to generate funds, but things are still uncertain for now.

Tare and Sarri will also discuss the programme for this summer’s training camp, with the former Juventus and Chelsea coach wanting a 21-day retreat.
