Omari Hutchinson was a well regarded talent in the Arsenal academy before coming to Chelsea in the summer of 2022.

If you wondered why he made the change just before the prime age to try and get into Mikel Arteta’s team, his brother posted an angry rant on Instagram today pointing out that Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs had all given youngsters debuts in the FA Cup this weekend – but Arsenal hadn’t.

To be fair, Arsenal were losing at home against a top team.

But either way, it shows the importance of keeping young players onside by providing at least occasional opportunities.
