Chelsea’s interest in young Lyon right back Malo Gusto is serious – serious enough that we think we’re likely to sign him before the window is out.

So what are we getting? By the looks of this graphic which shows which player in Ligue 1 has been the most “dangerous passer” by zone of the attacking half, we’re getting an elite creator.

Gusto joins Messi and Mbappe among the divisions’s most threatening player, with the right hand side his domain. He’s clearly got a wicked cross on him.

In fact Gusto has three areas where he is the league’s most creative passer, more than anyone else.
