Transfer expert Matteo Moretto feels Ciro Immobile would like to ‘try a different project’ at the end of the season, so he’s expected to leave Lazio in the summer.

Immobile has scored 10 goals in 35 appearances across all competitions this season. According to Football Italia transfer expert Matteo Moretto, the Italian striker will likely leave the Stadio Olimpico in the summer.

It is still not directly confirmed that the experienced striker will part company with Lazio at the end of the season, but Moretto believes Immobile will be eager to try a new experience in 2024-25.

Immobile was verbally and physically targeted outside his son’s school last week, but Lazio President Claudio Lotito didn’t back his captain after the incident.

Immobile joined Lazio from Sevilla in the summer of 2016 for just €9.5m and has scored 206 goals in 332 matches with the Biancoazzurri.

Recent reports in Italy have linked the 34-year-old forward with a summer move to Inter.
