Immobile will return to the squad training sessions today and will be fit enough for Lazio’s next match against Simone Inzaghi’s Inter.

The 31-year-old Italian is incredibly keen to play against his former mentor and coach Inzaghi, and he wants to return to scoring ways, having not scored since the 1-1 draw with Torino last month.

Immobile is also aiming to win another capocannoniere award this season and so the match against the Nerazzurri this weekend provides him the perfect opportunity to continue that run.

The Lazio talisman has already scored six goals and provided two assists in six league appearances so far this campaign.
