Inter CEO Beppe Marotta insists the club is hellbent on keeping hold of all key players in the upcoming transfer window. In a comprehensive interview with Sky Sport, the Nerazzurrri chief executive confirmed all first-team stars are eager to stay at Giuseppe Meazza after a triumphant season.

Fresh off the 20th Scudetto, Inter can now focus on assembling the team for next season. That was the subject of Marotta’s discussion in his first public talking since Nerazzurri became the only side alongside Juventus to win 20+ Serie A titles.

With Ausilio, we will check all the contracts. We have gathered from everyone the desire to move forward with us and, since I think this cycle is not even halfway through yet, we want to confirm this squad to a large extent,” Marotta said, as quoted by Gianluca Di Marzio

Standout performers Nicolo Barella, Marcus Thuram, and Lautaro Martinez have drawn plenty of interest. However, Inter have no intention of falling victim to their success. Instead, they look to build a competitive squad to not only defend their Serie A crown but challenge for the Champions League title next term.

The wheels are already in motion. Porto’s Mehdi Taremi is on the verge of joining Inter as a free agent. The same goes for Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski. Both players have set one foot at Meazza. In addition to these two arrivals, they’ll probably make at least one high-profile acquisition to reward Simone Inzaghi for a superb campaign.
