Inter duo Arturo Vidal and Alexis Sanchez will not be available for the upcoming match against Lazio.

As reported by Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the Chilean pair are currently away on international duty, playing in the South American 2022 World Cup Qualifiers.

Inter Midfielder Stefano Sensi Could Make Return Against Lazio, Italian Media Report

Chile have a match against Venezuela on Thursday night/Friday morning and so the Inter pair are only expected to arrive in Rome on the morning of the match against Lazio on Saturday.

This means that there is almost no chance that coach Simone Inzaghi will use the Chilean duo in the match at the Stadio Olimpico, allowing them a few days to rest and return to squad training.

Regarding the Argentinian players in the Inter squad like Lautaro Martinez, the 45-year-old Italian coach will make his decision in the coming days.

Vidal has featured semi-regularly for Inzaghi so far this season, making four substitute appearances in the league, where he scored one goal and provided one assist.
