Inter Milan won’t relinquish the services of Valentin Carboni. They are counting on the attacking midfielder as well as his brother.

The 19-year-old is one of the finest jewels in the Nerazzurri’s youth system. The Argentine is currently impressing while on loan at Monza.

His exploits in Brianza even earned him a call-up to Argentina’s senior team.

Lionel Scaloni gave Carboni his debut in the final eight minutes of the Albiceleste’s 3-0 win over Costa Rica in a friendly test earlier this week.

Although it was only a brief cameo, this appearance was enough to consolidate the player’s status as one of the most promising young starlets around.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport via FcInterNews, the Nerazzurri have big plans for the youngster.

Carboni will rejoin Simone Inzaghi’s ranks in the summer. The club will either keep him in the first team or use him as a bargaining chip in a possible transfer.

For instance, he could be useful in Inter’s attempts to sign Genoa star Albert Gudmundsson.

Inter Milan Eager To Maintain A Hold On The Future Of Valentin Carboni

But even in this case, the Nerazzurri would want to retain Carboni’s card. Therefore, they would have to find a formula that allows them to remain in control of the player’s future.

On another note, the pink newspaper also discusses Valentin’s younger brother Cristiano Carboni.

The player is only 13 years old but has already left his mark with Inter’s U15 squad. Some are even suggesting that the teenager could exceed his older sibling talent-wise.
