Inter Milan are gearing up for plans for their Serie A title celebrations, with the hunger to clinch the title against AC Milan.

This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper La Repubblica, via FCInterNews.

It is now only a matter of time before Inter confirm their status as champions for this Serie A season.

The Nerazzurri could even clinch the title in the derby against AC Milan next week. A draw would not be enough to make it certain mathematically – but a win would.

And while there have been some statements downplaying the significance of clinching the title in the derby, behind the scenes the Inter players and staff are thrilled by the proposition.

Midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan admitted as much in recent comments.

Inter Milan Gearing Up For Serie A Title Celebrations

Whether Inter clinch the title in the derby or not, however, they are still expecting to celebrate the title in the next couple of weeks.

There will be other opportunities to make it official in subsequent matches.

Therefore, the plans are now really well underway regarding the celebrations.

For the squad, the celebrations could be held at the historic Castle Sforzesco.

Meanwhile, there would also be the matter of an open-top bus parade with the team.

Naturally, Inter’s hope is that this will be held as soon as possible – they’ll aim to have the parade not long after a hoped-for win over Milan in the derby to clinch the title.

A bus parade would not take place on the day of the derby, however, La Repubblica reports.

Rather, it would be held on the Tuesday after the derby.

Significantly, the last time Inter won the Serie A title was in 2021 when COVID restrictions were still in place.

Therefore, festivities with these restrictions lifted would certainly have a greater atmosphere.

There would, however, also be significantly more security concerns. And the city of Milan authorities and police are starting to make preparations in that respect.
