Inter are feeling more and more optimistic about the future of striker Romelu Lukaku over the rest of the season.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInter1908, who report that the Nerazzurri feel that the indications from the Belgian in training and in his recent appearances are that he can finally find his best form over the rest of the season.

Lukaku has yest to really show what Inter made such an effort to bring him back on loan from Chelsea in the summer.

However, the 29-year-old still has a few months in which to make an impact.

According to Sky, the mood now has shifted to optimism, from the sense of uncertainty around the striker’s future that had fallen upon the Nerazzurri due to his lingering injury and fitness problems earlier on in the campaign.

The broadcaster reports that Lukaku is more determined than ever to show his best in an Inter shirt and prove that his future is at the club.
