Lazio captain Ciro Immobile could finally leave the capital side in the summer, while Inter Milan are reportedly keeping tabs on the situation.

The 34-year-old has established himself as one of the deadliest bombers in his generation.

The Juventus youth product has won four Capocannoniere (Serie A top scorer) awards in his career, including three during his time with the Aquile.

However, many believe the player’s powers are waning, citing his declining scoring charts.

The Euro 2020 has only scored 10 goals across all competitions this term, with several coming from the spot.

Immobile now has a new task ahead, as he’ll have to impress new Lazio coach Igor Tudor to maintain his starting spot ahead of the younger Taty Castellanos.

But according to Il Messaggero via FcInterNews, the Italian could be contemplating a change in scenery now more than ever.

The same goes for Lazio who will consider offers for their captain in the summer. The striker joined the club in 2016 and has a contract valid until 2026.

So as the source tells it, Inter remain on stand-by. The Nerazzurri have tested the waters for the veteran attacker in the past.

Ciro Immobile Could Leave Lazio – Inter Milan Awaiting Developments

Immobile would have the chance to reunite with his former coach Simone Inzaghi at Appiano Gentile.

Aside from Inter, Saudi Pro League clubs are also monitoring the situation.

Immobile started his career within Juve’s youth ranks. He had a host of experiences during his formative years, varying between successful spells and forgettable campaigns.

He eventually reached stardom in 2013/14 when he won his maiden Capocannoniere award during his time with Torino.

This prompted two foreign experiences with Borussia Dortmund and Sevilla. But he eventually returned to Serie A after failing to truly impress abroad.
