Inter Milan’s squad will receive bonuses of around €3 million for winning the Serie A title.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

Inter are not quite mathematically assured to finish the season as Serie A champions.

But that is certainly a matter of “when” rather than “if.”

Inter could very well clinch the title in next week’s derby against AC Milan. A win would be enough to put them completely out of sight, though a draw would not.

On the other hand, if Inter fail to beat the Rossoneri, they could clinch the title the following weekend against Torino.

Inter will be able to put the second star on their shirts, in recognition of twenty titles won over the course of the club’s history.

And this group of players will win their first Serie A title under Simone Inzaghi as coach.

Naturally, there is little need for any additional incentive for such an achievement.

However, the Gazzetta report, the club are still aiming to reward the players for what they have accomplished this season.

Inter To Give Squad Bonuses Of €3M For Winning Serie A Title

The Nerazzurri are ready to reward the players for their efforts in this season’s title push.

Inter have had a longstanding policy under Suning of paying bonuses to the players out of the prize money that the club bring in for winning trophies.

The squad had received €1.5 million between them for winning the Supercoppa Italiana in January.

And for winning the title, the Gazzetta report, that amount will be higher.

Inter plan to disburse a total of €3 million between the players in the squad.

Of course, that will only happen when the team actually clinch the title.

But that should happen in a matter of weeks, if not days.
