Inter striker Eddie Salcedo is set to return from his loan spell at Bari and move to former club Genoa until the end of the season.

According to Italian television broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, and as reported by FCInterNews.it, the forward has seen his arrangement with Bari terminated and he will return to the Nerazzurri, before immediately returning to Serie B.

Salcedo has agreed to return to Genoa to help the Grifone in their promotion push, and his medical tests have already been scheduled ahead of the switch to the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

The 21-year-old began his career with Genoa and made three senior appearances for the club before moving to Inter on an initial loan in 2018, with the deal made permanent the following year.

Salcedo is expected to replaced at Bari by fellow Inter striker Sebastiano Esposito, who will join on loan after spending the first half of the season at Belgian club Anderlecht.
