Inter are focusing their search for a replacement for defender Milan Skriniar on the summer transfer window, as they do not expect Paris Saint-Germain to move for the defender this month.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, who report that there are several names on the Nerazzurri’s list, but that they will likely move starting in June rather than before the January transfer window closes.

Inter are now resigned to the fact that Skriniar will leave, and are accordingly planning to seek a replacement for the Slovakian former Sampdoria defender.

The Nerazzurri are aware that PSG are the likeliest destination for the 27-year-old, but it does not appear at all likely that the Parisians will look to sign the player in the next few days before the January window closes.

Accordingly, Inter are not planning to sign a replacement for Skriniar during the January window as they anticipate that the defender will continue to be part of their squad until the end of the season.

The Nerazzurri will instead look to line up targets for the summer transfer window starting in June.

According to Sky, Inter have a number of targets lined up in this respect.
