Inter went full-steam ahead on Tajon Buchanan after Juan Cuadrado opted to have surgery due to an Achilles’ injury. Despite some hurdles, they should be able to seal the deal in a hurry. President Steven Zhang has okayed a small extra budget, La Gazzetta dello Sport informs.
The talent has asked out and hasn’t been selected for the past two matches because of the situation. The Nerazzurri are already starting to plan his arrival. He could take the medicals and have his first training right after New Year’s Day.
Inter would prefer to do the Buchanan deal on loan, but they might go for a permanent transfer. It would facilitate things and speed them up. They’ll satisfy Club Brugge’s €12M request. They’ll pay a €8/10M fee plus €2/4M potential add-ons.
