After his loan from Manchester United ends, Jadon Sancho is reportedly unlikely to stay at Borussia Dortmund.

Sancho joined Dortmund for the rest of the season after leaving United during the January transfer window. Prior to joining the Bundesliga team, the England international had only made three appearances for Erik ten Hag’s team this season.

Sancho was moved after Ten Hag left him out of the first-team plans after making a seemingly reactional social media post in September that was later removed in response to the United manager’s remarks.

Prior to joining Dortmund on loan last month until the end of the season, Sancho made his final appearance for United on August 26.

After his loan transfer, speculation over Sancho’s long-term future at United is still rampant. German reports indicate that staying at Dortmund does not appear to be an option.

Sport Bild in Germany reports that Sancho does not anticipate remaining at Dortmund for beyond the duration of his loan agreement.

It has been reported that there are “slim” chances of a permanent agreement being reached, or even of another loan transfer.

In the summer of 2021, United signed Sancho from Dortmund for a reported £73 million. Since then, he has made 82 appearances and scored 12 goals, including seven in 41 games during Ten Hag’s debut year at Old Trafford last year.

Since joining Dortmund on loan last month, Sancho has made five appearances, providing two assists, but he has yet to score his first goal.

Sancho moved to Man United with so much promise and hope for future but his career at Old Trafford has turned into a nightmare with the England international failing to live up to the expectations of the supporters and the manager.
