James Rodriguez admits he signed for Real Madrid ahead of Manchester City.

James left Monaco after the 2014 World Cup for Real.

He recalled on Twitch: "PSG and City had looked for me and had presented me with more important offers than Real Madrid's.

"But I wanted glory, I wanted Real Madrid, because there is nothing like Real Madrid.

"Florentino Prez called me and said: 'What do you want, money or glory?' So I told him that what I wanted was glory and he said 'Well, it's done'."
