Joao Felix has revealed all about Diego Costa’s welcoming side during his time at Atletico Madrid and the advice he got about joining Chelsea.

Felix spoke on the London Is Blue Pod about how Costa put an arm around him when he arrived at the club which helped him settle in Spain.

The first day that I arrived in Atletico, he was the first to start talking with me, told me to sit on his side of the table.”

He’s an amazing guy with a good heart and crazy head!

Costa gained cult hero status during his four years at Chelsea, the forward a key player in Chelsea’s Premier League title win of 2016/17 where he scored 20 goals, the last player to do so for the club.

He left under a cloud in 2018 after a fallout with Antonio Conte, heading back to Atletico Madrid and today, he plies his trade for Wolves for whom he is yet to score in 16 appearances.

Chelsea fans will hope Costa gave Felix some good advice on how to score a load of goals for the club, as they hope Felix comes back to the club in a permanent capacity next season.
