Luka Jovic’s agent is set to meet with AC Milan soon to discuss the potential of his client staying with the Rossoneri beyond the end of this season.

As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, the Serbian striker is very keen to stay at the club beyond the end of his one-year contract, which is up at the end of the campaign.

An important factor to remember is that Milan have an option to extend that contract by another year, so they would not necessarily need to negotiate a whole new deal for Jovic.

Fali Ramadani, Jovic’s agent, and Milan director Geoffrey Moncada are expected to meet at the end of March to discuss whether Milan will be triggering the extension or letting Jovic find a new club at the end of this season.

So far, Jovic has got eight goals in 20 games for Milan, but it seems that March will be a very important month for him. Milan have at least two Europa League games to play and if he is able to score some more goals, it will really help his quest for another season with the club.

Milan could offer a two-year renewal to Jovic if he starts to impress even more at the end of the season.
