Several Real Madrid players vented their frustration via social media following Saturday's chaotic 2-2 draw at Valencia.

Madrid fought back from 2-0 down to earn a point thanks to two goals from Vinicius Junior but were controversially denied a 99th-minute winner.

Jude Bellingham guided a Brahim Diaz cross into the Valencia net with an excellent header but the goal did not stand because referee Jesus Gil had blown the full-time whistle two seconds earlier.

Bellingham was then shown a red card for his furious reaction to the referee, meaning he will now likely be suspended for Madrid's next three La Liga games.

What did Jude Bellingham say to the referee before his red card?

It has been widely reported that Bellingham said to the referee: "It's a f****ing goal, the ball is in the air. What the f*** is that."

Bellingham even reposted a tweet on X.com that claimed this is what he said.

How did Real Madrid's players react on social media?

As well as the above tweet, Bellingham reposted a message from a fan account that read: "The referee literally waited for Brahim Diaz to cross the ball! THIS IS A SCANDAL!"

Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni wrote: "That's embarrassing".

Meanwhile, Vinicius simply posed a laughing emoji.
