Kylian Mbappé is the French national team captain. However, despite his role on Les Bleus, it doesn’t stop Paris Saint-Germain from receiving playful banter from his teammates.

In an interview with Le Carré (h/t Le10Sport), Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot and Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman spoke about the Parisian star’s behavior on and off the pitch, all with a smile.

Coman joked with his remarks, noting that he was impressed by the speed and percussion skills that Mbappé possesses.

“Mbappé drives me crazy when he accelerates,” Coman said. “I am one of the players who has great acceleration. But there you go, it has an acceleration, we’ll say, in two stages, like a turbo. When you drive a sports car, you have the first acceleration, and then there is the turbo, which hits and gives you a little boost. He’s the same. It has a small McLaren engine.”

Adrien Rabiot also has fun at the expense of Kylian Mbappé

Afterward, Rabiot also cracked jokes regarding his former teammate. The Frenchman poked fun at how the PSG star handles the media, precisely when he talks to them at a press conference.

“Kylian Mbappé annoys me when he changes his voice during interviews,” Rabiot added. “When we are together, he speaks normally. And I don’t know why, when we see him in an interview, he changes his voice.”

For France, the squad probably hopes that this companionship between the players on the team creates an environment heading into UEFA Euro 2024.

After failing to win the tournament in 2021, Mbappé and Co. want to ensure that the aurora around the team “is one that allows them to lift the trophy next summer.
