Juventus star striker Dusan Vlahovic picked up another suspension after losing his temper down the final stretch of a 0-0 home draw against Genoa. Bianconeri will now contemplate punishing their ace for his increasingly irresponsible behavior.

Vlahovic has just returned from a one-game ban. However, frustration boiled over in second-half stoppages as Serie A’s most prolific player in 2024 lost his mind, receiving two yellow cards in only two minutes.

Juventus created several decent chances but failed to score. Vlahovic himself had a couple of decent opportunities. But as their dreadful league form continued, the Serbia international lashed out at referee Antonio Guia, which earned him an expulsion.

During his controversial post-match conference, Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri confirmed the club will fine Vlahovic.

Unfortunately, he made a mistake and will be fined. I didn’t say anything to him,” he said.

While the pair didn’t talk about the incident in the dressing room, Juventus will take action against Vlahovic. Truth be told, he had no one but himself to blame for another disappointing result. But his exuberant nature prevailed.

After failing to win for the seventh time in their last eight Serie A games, Juventus will enter March’s international break in third. Considering fans were hopeful Bianconeri could challenge Inter for the title until not long ago, this is a disaster for Allegri’s team.

Juventus will have a fortnight to regroup before making a mouth-watering journey to Rome to encounter Lazio on March 30. But Vlahovic will not be part of the squad.
