Juventus are reportedly on the cusp of reaching a full agreement with Lazio winger Felipe Anderson over a free transfer in the summer. The Brazilian is currently running on an expiring contract and has been heavily linked with a move to Turin in recent months.

Lazio president Claudio Lotito has been desperately trying to strike an agreement with the player’s sister/agent over a contract renewal, but to no avail. Therefore, the Brazilian could well be on his way out of the Italian capital club.

According to Goal.com via LazioNews24, Juventus are currently working on finalizing an agreement with Anderson and his entourage. The two parties are ironing out the final details and are said to be one step away from reaching a final accord.

The Bianconeri are set to ring the changes in the summer following a disappointing campaign, and the Lazio star could end up being their first summer signing. Anderson would be able to join Juventus as a free agent on the 1st of July.

This would bring an end to the winger’s second stint at Formello. His first spell lasted five years, ending with a big-money switch to West Ham United in 2018. The Brazilian found little success in the Premier League, but managed to revive his career upon his return to Lazio in 2021. This season, he has contributed with five goals and seven assists in 44 appearances across all competitions.
