Juventus have been not so quietly working on the acquisitions of Teun Koopmeiners and Lewis Ferguson. They are ready to include some of their promising youngsters in their offers to convince Atalanta and Bologna respectively.
According to Corriere dello Sport (via Goal), director Cristiano Giuntoli had a brief chat with the Dutchman and his camp after the recent clash between the two sides. The Bianconeri plot to propose €30M plus Matias Soulé, while La Dea wants €60M. Per La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Bergamaschi could get such a sum from Liverpool.
Juventus would have better odds of signing Koopmeiners and/or Ferguson if they insisted on staying in Italy. The agent of the latter openly discussed it in a recent interview. The Felsinei have taken an interest in Tommaso Barbieri. He’s faring well at Pisa and could be part of the negotiation, TuttoSport informs.
The fullback has logged four appearances with the first team in previous seasons. He has been a regular in Serie B this campaign and could stay put if he’s not sold next summer. The Scot has a €25/30M valuation. His team is open for business on getting a makeweight in return.
