Following the conclusion of the international break, all of AC Milan’s players have returned to training at Milanello ahead of Saturday’s game against Fiorentina.

The squad will travel to Florence on Friday instead of Saturday due to concerns about traffic on Easter weekend, which means the window for training and preparation at Milanello is not as long as Milan would have hoped.

Nonetheless, MilanNews have reported that today, all of the Rossoneri players have returned to training after their respective international teams have finished playing to join those who have trained in recent days.

The update states that everyone has trained as expected, aside from Simon Kjaer, who is struggling with a thigh injury, which he picked up this week. The Dane instead trained individually in the gym, and with it being reported that he will miss the game against La Viola this weekend, he will remain focused on this with no pressure of preparing for the clash.

For Kjaer, he will hope that this does not become a more prominent issue. The original check-up at Milanello showed no signs of major concern with his injury. However, at 35 years old, the risk of aggravating the injury could be heightened, so recovery must be prioritised.
