According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Victor Kristiansen’s convincing performances at Bologna are persuading the Rossoblu to sign the 21-year-old from Leicester City permanently at the end of the season.

The Denmark international joined Bologna on loan with an option to buy from Leicester City for €15m last summer.

Kristiansen has become a regular starter under Thiago Motta who recently praised the promising left-back.

Il Corriere dello Sport had reported at the start of February that Kristiansen didn’t want to return to Leicester City at the end of the season and Gazzetta has said on Wednesday that Bologna are increasingly likely to make his move permanent in the summer.

Wednesday’s printed edition of the pink paper on page 22 reports that Bologna directors have changed their minds about the 21-year-old who had offered hot and cold performances at the beginning of the season.

Kristiansen recently earned a late penalty kick in a 2-2 draw against Milan and delivered an assist for Joshua Zirkzee’s goal against Lazio on Sunday.

According to the report, his convincing performances are persuading Bologna to spend €15m to make his move permanent in the summer.
