Kylian Mbappe has made it clear that he will not be joining Arsenal this summer.

The 25-year-old is widely expected to move to Real Madrid after his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires on June 30.

It was suggested by The Independent's chief football writer Miguel Delaney in February that Mbappe would "willingly join" the Gunners if the Premier League club could somehow afford his salary demands.

But Mbappe ended that pipe dream this week.

Young Gunners fan Mikey Poulli met Mbappe in Paris recently and shared a short video of their conversation via social media.

The video begins with Mikey telling Mbappe: "Come to Arsenal. We'll look after you."

A laughing Mbappe then responds: "Arsenal? There's no way. There's no way."

After being asked why a move to the Emirates Stadium is out of the question, Mbappe blames the British weather by saying: "It's too cold there."
