Lazio will be looking to tame the danger of Dusan Vlahovic when they collide with Juventus tomorrow, but it remains an uneasy task based on the precedents.

The Biancocelesti will host the Old Lady at the Stadio Olimpico on Tuesday night for the second leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final. The capital side will have to overcome a two-goal deficit after losing 0-2 in the first leg in Turin. Federico Chiesa broke the deadlock, while Vlahovic doubled the lead with an almost customary strike against Lazio.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), the Aquile happen to be the Serbian’s favorite victim, having scored seven goals in nine fixtures against them, cementing himself as Lazio’s ultimate bogeyman.

This season, the 24-year-old was the author of a superb brace when two sides met in a league fixture back in September. He led Juventus towards a 3-1 victory over Maurizio Sarri’s men. Therefore, his strike in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final raised his tally to three goals in two appearances against Lazio this season.

The Biancocelesti managed to beat the Bianconeri on one occasion this season. It occured when the two sides met in a Serie A fixture last month, with Adam Marusic scoring the last-minute winner. However, Vlahovic missed that encounter while serving a one-match ban.

The former Fiorentina man has become the Bianconeri’s main talisman, scoring 17 goals across all competitions this season. So while Lazio will be looking to mount a comeback tomorrow, they also wouldn’t want to leave themselves exposed at the back with Vlahovic lurking.
