Lazio captain Ciro Immobile has been offered to Inter Milan for the upcoming summer transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Il Messaggerio, via FCInterNews. The newspaper report that the Nerazzurri do not consider the 34-year-old a target however.

Immobile is now in his eighth season at Lazio.

During that time, the Italian international has become the Biancocelesti’s all-time top scorer.

Immobile has been the talisman as Lazio have reached the Champions League round of sixteen on two occasions, and won the Coppa Italia.

Immobile has been the club from the Italian capital’s captain for several seasons as well.

The veteran former Borussia Dortmund, Sevilla, and Torino striker has also captained the Italian national team since Leonardo Bonucci retired from international football.

Lazio Captain Ciro Immobile Offered To Inter Milan

This has been a tough season for Immobile at Lazio however.

It has been a season of ups and downs for the Biancocelesti as a whole. This has eventually seen Maurizio Sarri sacked as coach as the team who finished second in Serie A last season struggle for European football.

Former Hellas Verona and Marseille coach Igor Tudor has arrived as Sarri’s replacement.

And there is a question of just how much of a place the 34-year-old Immobile will have in Tudor’s project at the Stadio Olimpico.

Taty Castellanos arrived last summer as competition in the striker position.

Immobile is under contract with Lazio until the end of June 2026. But according Il Messaggerio, the Italian international feels that his time in the capital is running out.

Therefore, Immobile’s representatives have offered the player to Inter.

The 34-year-old would certainly represent an experienced option to add depth at the striker position.

Moreover, Immobile knows Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi well.

The striker enjoyed his best goalscoring form when Inzaghi was in charge at the Biancocelesti.

But Il Messaggerio report that Inter have little interest in signing Immobile.

Meanwhile, the Italy captain could move to the Saudi Pro League in the summer instead according to Il Messaggerio.
