Lazio president Claudio Lotito has confirmed they're signing Valentin Castellanos.

Castellanos will arrive from New York City FC for 15m. The Argentine has been part of the City Football Group.

I have clear ideas, I told Maurizio Sarri not to tell me names [of players he wants to sign], but only the positions he wants to cover. I pick the players," Lotito told Il Corriere dello Sport.

There is an entire department in Formello that only focuses on scouting. Castellanos has arrived and it was an expensive signing.

"Now Maurizio is asking me for a Regista, a defender, a winger a Mezzala and, not necessarily, a left-back. I have all names in my mind."
