Lazio are keen to bring back Antonio Candreva and are exploring possible deals for the Salernitana winger.

The 36-year-old Italian winger has entered the last six months of his contract in Salerno and isn’t expected to sign a new deal on the Campania coast. He’s performed well for the Granata this term, scoring five goals and providing four assists across 19 Serie A matches.

Lazio have been relying on Felipe Anderson in recent years but the Brazilian winger is looking increasingly likely to leave on a free transfer in the summer, with Aston Villa and Juventus both interested in snapping up the 30-year-old.

As reported by TMW, Lazio are keen to sign Candreva and are open to both a deal with Salernitana in the January transfer window or a free transfer in the summer. Talks are now ongoing as the Biancocelesti try to push for a mid-season move.

Candreva spent four years of his career with Lazio from January 2012 to August 2016, scoring 45 goals and providing 43 assists across 190 total matches.
