The Lazio squad will undergo their pre-season medical checks later this week.

As reported by Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today, the Biancocelesti squad will visit the Paideia medical clinic in Rome on Wednesday and Thursday to carry out the routine checks, which are carried out every year before the pre-season training camp.

There will be both cardiological and instrumental checks tomorrow and Thursday for the squad, with the painful memory of Christian Eriksen’s collapse still fresh in the mind of many in the footballing world.

The squad will leave Rome for the training retreat at Auronzo di Cadore on 10th July, which will last until 28th July. The team will then take a few days to rest before going to Germany for another training camp.

Coach Maurizio Sarri will be meeting the squad for the first time later this week and has already been hard at work preparing a plan for the retreat that will be carried out this summer.
