Lazio will no longer use their custom Boeing 737-300 after failing to reach an agreement with Tayaran Jet.

As reported by Italian newspaper La Repubblica (via LazioNews24) earlier today, Biancocelesti president Claudio Lotito has not reached an agreement with the Bulgarian airline, who created the plane ad hoc last year for the Roman club.

From now on, coach Maurizio Sarri and the Lazio squad will have to travel by other means to their away games, forcing them to travel by train or use other airlines.

The Lazio airplane was a cause of controversy upon his announcement last year when Spanish midfielder Luis Alberto complained about it and delayed salary payments.

The incident may have led to team manager Angelo Peruzzi’s departure at the end of last season, as the former goalkeeper fell out with president Lotito over the issue.

Lazio did not have exclusive usage of the plane but were given priority on dates that it was needed.
