Cristiano Ronaldo has been pictured back on the Old Trafford pitch in a Manchester United shirt for the first time since he joined Real Madrid in 2009.

New leaked pictures show Ronaldo in United’s new kit at Old Trafford doing club media work with former team-mate Wes Brown.

It shouldn’t take CR7 long to familiarise himself with his old surroundings ahead of his second debut for the club, which looks like it could be this weekend against Newcastle.

He joined up with the first team for training on Tuesday and will be hopeful of starting against the Magpies on Saturday.

We are expecting an interview with Ronaldo to feature on MUTV before the game, so stay tuned – especially season ticket holders who have recently been given free access to MUTV via the app or website.

Ronaldo has been back at Old Trafford in the past on opposing sides, playing for Madrid and Juventus in the Champions League.

Let us know in the comments section if you think Ronaldo will start on his debut?
