During the start of the pre-season, Rafael Leao has got the chance up front for Milan as Zlatan Ibrahimovic is recovering from an injury, while Olivier Giroud is on vacation. And the performances have been promising.

In the games against Pro Sesto and Modena, although they are both Serie C sides, Leao has scored two goals (one in each) and has looked lively. Given the recent mercato rumours, it seems the youngster is indeed out for revenge.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, the former Lille man isn’t on the transfer list but he isn’t considered unsellable either. Should an offer of around €30m arrive, then the Rossoneri will consider it.

His agent, Jorge Mendes, has been in contact with several clubs to probe the interest. Wolves have been offered the player, as well as a few other English clubs, but to date there are no concrete links.

Meanwhile, Leao has made his will very clear: he wants to stay at Milan and prove the doubters wrong. And in recent weeks he has worked with a lot of dedication. A strong and clear message to Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara.
