Leeds United starlet Brenden Aaronson is set for a stay at the club this summer.

The American is not leaving the Elland Road club, even if they are relegated.

MLS Transfers claim that Leeds have informed Aaronson he has a long-term contract.

That deal must be honoured, with the club not in the mood to gut their squad.

Leeds believe even if they do go down, they have the quality and resources to come straight back up in a year.

Aaronson may find that he can hone his game in the Championship, where he may find more time and space in transition to play a decisive role for the team.

The attacking midfielder has flattered to deceive since arriving from RB Salzburg last summer.
