Lille playmaker Angel Gomes could be out for their upcoming Europa Conference League games.

The former Manchester United youth star has been influential for the Ligue 1 club.

However, L'Equipe state that Gomes has a hamstring injury that will rule him out for several weeks.

He is now set to miss both legs of their Conference League quarter final against Aston Villa.

Gomes has started 23 of Lille's 25 matches in Ligue 1 so far this term, along with several European games.

Lille, who topped their group, will face either Fenerbahce or Olympiacos in the semi finals if they can beat Villa.
