Former Juventus coach Marcello Lippi believes they are a Serie A title threat under coach Max Allegri.

Lippi says Juve can wrestle the Scudetto away from favourites Inter Milan.

He told TMW: "The Juventus coach will always be criticised, as will that of Inter, Milan and all those fighting for top spot in the standings. Allegri is a coach with great sporting culture and will fight to the end again this year.

"I always like Juve, but it's a team that I like if it wins. If it doesn't win it can play very well, but you still don't like them.

"There are 5-6 teams that I like because of the way they play, like Empoli, Frosinone... They play really good football and this means that in Italy they play, it's not just the big ones. Our football has improved and even smaller teams play it well."
