Liverpool and Barcelona are interested in Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp pushed to sign Amrabat in January, including meeting with his entourage over the Christmas break.

However, Fiorentina refused to do business in midseason.

Foot Mercato says Liverpool as one of five cubs interested in snapping him up this summer. The other four are Tottenham, Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Paris Saint Germain. Quite the line-up.

Amrabat's reported preference to play in LaLiga gives the Spanish sides and edge, with Barca considered favourites, but the report insists that both the Reds and Spurs "have not said their last word yet".
